Over the course of several months, Tim personally inspected buildings across campus, replacing damaged or missing emergency posters and refurbishing emergency phones in need of repair. Allyson emphasized that “he took this on without prompt,” noting that his efforts help ensure safety equipment remains visible, functional, and well maintained. “I am grateful for him and his work,” she added.

A Long Beach native, Tim was born and raised in the community and began his CSULB career as a painter. Since then, he has embraced opportunities to expand his expertise, sharing that he has enjoyed “learning and developing new skills in the sign shop.” One of his recent highlights was being part of the University’s 2026 Commencement team, helping support one of the campus’s most significant annual events.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys traveling and exploring new experiences. A cruise through the Panama Canal stands out as a memorable adventure that he describes as “a once-in-a-lifetime experience.” Closer to home, he enjoys cooking, discovering new restaurants, and continuing his search for the best Mexican food.
