  • Increase their knowledge about personal, professional and grantsmanship issues to successfully navigate the NIH extramural system
  • Increase their knowledge about issues of racial bias as a historical barrier within the NIH system
  • Be apprised of recommendations for early career faculty to consider when preparing to submit applications seeking NIH funding

Who should register: College or University faculty, particularly new researchers and those at minority-serving institutions, intending to write or submit an application for funds to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to conduct health equity research.
