Using Children's Literature to Create Space for Critical Conversation and Social Action Projects

Description

In this presentation the speakers will share examples of how together with their elementary-school-aged students, they have used books in combination with other texts such as everyday texts and media reports to explore various topics and social issues from a critical literacy perspective.
