Employee of the Month - June 2025


Fabiola Tinti, Fiscal Operations Analyst
Academic Resources, Division of Academic Affairs

Awarded Monday, June 23, 2025, at Friendship Walk. Fabiola Tinti was joined by President Jane Close Conoley, Vice Provost of Academic Planning Dhushy Sathianathan, and numerous campus colleagues.

Fabiola started working at CSULB as a student assistant working towards her graduate degree. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from CSULA and a Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from CSULB. Upon graduation, she was hired as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Provost in 2018 and is currently working as a Fiscal Operations Analyst in Academic Resources.

Michelle Ramirez shared, “She is incredibly detail-oriented and possesses outstanding customer service skills. Fabiola is a patient listener who provides clear and concise instructions on how to navigate different processes. Her friendly smile and positive attitude are truly contagious, uplifting everyone around her. She always has time to address any questions or concerns I or others may have even when she has a tight schedule with all of the projects she oversees. Her performance goes above and beyond and I'm honored to have such an amazing colleague that poses all of these qualities. It is truly a delight working alongside someone who represents the mission and values of CSULB.”

Adrian Camacho provided many accolades of Fabiola, sharing that she “has been nothing but exceptional in her work, commitment to success, and willingness to help others…Fabiola is our go to person for all things fiscal within the Division of Academic Affairs. We have a question about budgets; we go to her. We have an issue with our expenditures log; we do go to her. We need help on moving things forward with purchasing, we go to her…we look to Fabiola for expertise in many ways when it comes to work, but we also look to her for personality, her humor, and her compassion.”

Penelope Gaibor contributed, “What sets Fabiola apart is her dedication to going above and beyond. She doesn't just complete her responsibilities; she actively contributes to a collaborative and inclusive work environment that reflects CSULB’s values. Her approachable and solution-oriented mindset fosters a culture of support and continuous improvement. Fabiola truly embodies the spirit of teamwork and excellence, and I wholeheartedly believe she deserves to be recognized for her outstanding contributions.”

Amy Paulsen added, “She is a true example of a BEACH success story, starting as a student assistant and moving through many campus positions, so that she has a truly well-rounded connection to people and policy. She has been instrumental in leading projects and teaching other staff how to utilize complicated resources such as Data Warehouse - always with infinite patience and a smile. Fabiola embodies CSULB's mission and strategic priorities and is without doubt, the Best of the Beach.”

In her free time, she enjoys reading, horror movies, trips to Disneyland and spending time with her dog Pearl.
